"Fraternity Vacation" is simply another stereotyped "Animal House" clone, only without the powerhouse cast. It also seriously lacks outrageousness, unless your idea of that would include a Mercedes crashing a pool party. Sadly missing is a script beyond the usual bikini bimbo's on display. John Vernon trades in his Dean Wormer role for police chief, with similar harassing tactics towards the fraternity boys. The main problem is nothing much happens, other than the requisite nudity, drinking, girl chasing, and partying, which gets seriously tedious after awhile. The script revolves around a fraternity wager regarding who can bed the "hot girl" first. Ah me! Unfortunately, you have seen this all before, and so a rather tame t.&a. movie comes across more like a sensitivity training film. - MERK
