Maybe it's unrealistic; like most movies, but it's still fun to watch. Hackers, isn't a high budget film with great actors or an amazing storyline, but it's still entertaining to watch. I find there aren't very many movies about hackers, I like that they show the struggles of a hackers life and that these are just kids, trying to have fun, even if they are breaking the law; it's not their fault their too smart for their own good. It was fun seeing one of Angelina Jolie's early roles as an actress, I also enjoyed seeing Matthew Lillard on this film; you can't help but think of Shaggy on Scooby doo every time you see him.
