Warning: Spoilers
This tv series at first seemed stupid and a cash grap but after all the episodes I can say it was amazing. The beginning seemed simple and comical even, but then it started. The simple beginning was a metaphor for the creation of consciousness in the womb. This show is not a idiotic reality tv show but a modern parallel to the "will to power" that Nietzsche spoke about. You can see the "will to power" represented in David Hasselhoff himself. In the first season, he took on the role of Zarathustra, trying to preach the truth of the mortal world. In the end of the first season, he realised that he can't fully understand reality and the human condition because he is in reality. In the second season, he takes the wisdom to heart and tries to separate himself from reality and become the Uebermensch and fully separate from the animal ways of modern humans. Haven't seen the third season but hope it's good.
