Honestly my hopes weren't high, so La Marca del Demonio didn't disappoint.
The plot is pretty much what you'd expect from a possession-movie, with a minor twist; the priests' sidekick is also possessed by a demon.
The acting is good, way better than what you usually see in similar movies, which was a pleasant surprise. The mood, setting and music are also pretty good throughout the film; dark, haunting and gritty.
I would have rated the movie higher, had it been longer - giving the story and characters more depth. It felt a bit rushed and the story was left with enough holes to leave you annoyed, like we aren't getting the full story.
All in all, your basic possession flick. Not awesome, but not that bad either.
