Kneel for the new Alpha

Warning: Spoilers
In my opinion this was one of the weaker entries in this Season but that doesn't mean to say the episode was bad, in fact it was far from that.

Carol continues to be selfish and it's really annoying, one of my least favourite characters this season. She refuses to go back to Alexandria which leaves Negan hanging (quite literally) because if he returns alone he will probably be executed at the gates. Even after Alpha's death her presence still lingers tormenting and haunting Carol for most of the episode and she's even the one to deliver the famous line 'Look at the flowers'.

Negan returns to the cabin he had Lydia tied up in and is greeted by Daryl holding a crossbow to his face. The two don't get along too well but the chemistry is better than the viewers may think and I can see a possible bromance in the future. There is even a scene where some random whisperers put Daryl on his knees and tell Negan he's the new Alpha so he toys with the idea before they both double team slaughtering the trio of skins.

Eugene, Yumiko and Ezekiel set off on a mission to find Stephanie, there is a lot of emotional goodbyes, some possible death foreshadowing. During the Journey, one of the horses are bitten and slowly dies. They eventually arrive at the meet-up point where they find loads of walkers tied up and are then faced with a woman holding a machine gun.

Finally, the character the episode focuses on the most, Beta. Beta finds Alpha's head on a pike and he is angry. A random whisperer triggers him by saying he is the new ruler so Beta forces the reanimated head to bite off his ear. He heads into town carrying Alpha's head in a bag and eventually stabs the whisperer through the back. We learn that Beta was a country singer, he smashes a guitar and attracts a large amount of walkers by playing his music. He stabs Alpha and wears her skin in replace for the piece that Gamma ripped off. He then walks outside amongst the dead probably heading to Alexandria with the entire horde for another battle.

Overall, this episode was weak in some places but for the most part it was really well done, the score was perfect as usual and their was some deep, emotional scenes
