Good episode. Eugene's speech was terrific and amazingly acted I thought, I think he is definitely one of the show's current best characters. The best character by far is Negan who shined again, although those Whisperers proclaiming him the new Alpha was kinda silly. Overall it was a slower episode, especially Carol's part which was quite lazily written I thought. The callbacks to The Grove were nice but honestly what was the point of having her trapped underneath those ruins just to escape at the last second, the 628494927th use of this trope throughout the show's course. This show has done hallucinations well but Carol seeing Alpha felt quite forced to be honest. The characterisation and interactions was once again excellent, particularly Negan and Daryl, and the ending has set up the next episode nicely, especially with the new community. Also, even though not much happened with him, Beta is being so well depicted as an outright insane, broken man
