Warning: Spoilers
Mystery series (which this is partly) come in the flavours of their detectives and surroundings. I love mysteries both written and filmed and not all of them are my cup of tea. Nothing wrong with them. In this case, I am enjoying the series partly but it isn't something i would write home about. All I can think of is the rich main character. Seeing him drive around in his car makes me think of a rich bloke with a fat financial family safety net. The way he is so nonchalant about his sister who is a hazard makes me see some one of privilege who has never had to worry about the damage one's family member might cause and the liability. And he is supposed to be a lawyer to boot. He seems waaaayyy too calm about everything.

It has kind of hit a down note recently: I can understand that he wanted to put some of his brother's escapades under wraps, but the thug didn't know about the other identity. So when he came calling for gambling debts, why didn't Kingdom go to the police? Gambling debts aren't anything to be embarrassed about personally or professionally. It just seemed unlikely.
