Review of Twins

I was under the impression that Schwarzenegger's entries in the comedy genre were not that good, but I watched Twins again since a looong time, and found it a lot better than I remembered. Maybe it was my teenage opinion that it was boring because there was not action...? But Arnold manages to be very funny, and his dynamic with Danny DeVito is hilarious. Their totally different physical appearance alone makes it look funny, and they also have quite good interaction. There's also a heartfelt friendship thing that develops, so it's not just mindless slapstick but also has an aspect of a warm drama.

Ivan Reitman directs, and since the original Ghostbusters is one of my all time favorite films, it's easy to see why I like the Twins too. There's just something in that Reitman style.

It's a comedy. If you want a comedy and nothing else, it's good!
