It's both a comedy and a masterpiece reflecting real life
9 June 2020
Every time I watched this film, I felt that what was wonderful was not only the laughingstock, but also some bitterness, which also satirized the helpless side of the dark reality of the society. How many migrant workers want to perform this embarrassing journey in the Spring Festival? Xu Zheng plays Li Chenggong, the boss. He has a good wife at home and a lover outside. He thinks that everything can be solved if he has money. Li Chenggong plans to go home to divorce his wife, but on the way he meets Niu Geng, his life mentor. Niu Geng, played by Wang Baoqiang, is a simple, honest, honest and kind-hearted person who has never seen the world, but is calm and optimistic, regardless of personal gain and loss, not cautious, helpful and helpful. Niugeng's shadow seems to reflect the shadow of countless migrant workers. Although his factory is closed and his work is tired and dirty, he is full of hope for the future all the time. As Niu Geng said in the play, "I never feel worse than anyone.". He even used his optimistic attitude to change Li Chenggong's attitude towards life.
