You get sick of the same old pap from Hollywood with no new ideas or style. Then along comes this little film from a 3 person family who blow Hollywood out of the water.
Now I'm going to be realistic and say while the dialogue was fantastic, the editing needs a wee bit work as a few places I felt the pace started to drag. It didn't ruin the film but was noticeable.
The acting was as good as you'd want without being oscar worthy, and the score was nothing short of excellent.
The filming, you'd think it had been done by a Hollywood heavyweight.
Aside from all this...the story was immersive and engaging. I really enjoyed this I hope they make another one.
