I've watched off and on for several seasons. I like the concept of seeing what chefs that can create from odd ingredients.
That said, my opinions about the show are declining for a few reasons. My rating is going done.
Two judges, Geoffrey and Marc never have anything positive to say, they only criticize. Geoffrey especially. His arrogance is unparalleled along with his opinion of himself.
Another reason is that Ted, more recently, has decided to interject his cooking wisdom into the show: "I personally cook mussels with garlic and butter". No kidding? Half the planet, and any novice at home does that.
Lastly, what brain surgeon decided to have Martha Stewart as judge? She's drab, and so outclassed by the cooks she attempts to critique.
