Robert Ulrich here had the charisma of paint drying and he strangely resembled Tattoo from Fantasy Island. This show was all glitz and no substance. Such were the '80s, mostly, but at least other actors had personality. Here, Ulrich forgot to bring it. His acting hit the floor. Pity cos I saw him on SWAT and was surprised he wasn't the lead. He had looks then. By the time they did this, he lost them. His face looked strange, can't explain it but I do mean vapid. Green eyes, but nothing behind them. I guess he never could act and that's why the more plain actors got the lead on SWAT. Skip this one: it's every bit as dull as Magnum P.I., and I could never watch that boring show! It baffles the mind how this lasted a full 3 seasons and great stuff got cancelled right and left!
