Review of The Deaths of Ian Stone

Well, something between Ground Hog day and Theme with Variations Matrix-style. Won't say much to not spoil it for hardcore horror fans. Just outline some of the things I liked: +1 for immortality & after death continuation (which I always envy). +1 for dumb kind blond against evil beautiful brunette (J. Murray). +1 for stamina to pain. +1 for graphic surgery procs. +1 for story explanation of why die, repeatedly (that was somewhat original). +1 for Dark City connection. +1 for reincarnation connection. -1 for ridiculous emotional love ties (whether beyween humans or harvesters or both), -1 for final twist (killing his girlfriend defeats his x-gf? Seriously? How? +1 for "efficient nightmare". +1 for decent cgi visuals. -1 for depicting harvesters close to the Predator in appearance. +1 for spiritual vampirism. If you are a horror genre fan, don't miss it. If not, put it in your drawer for later use on a day when you are off work and have time to waste.
