HONESTLY. This show has taken it' place in my heart rent free, some aren't fond with how much more comedic it is now. But I honestly find it great! They have their moments of seriousness, and at the perfect time, a little joke works it's way through. And the atmosphere isn't as heavy as the previous.

I can't even begin on the team and their personalities, finally- it feels like every team member is just as important as another. And their personalities have depth! I honestly loved the 2012-2017 show, but it often felt as thought Leo was always the one in the light, or Leo and Raph being the only 'important' members of the team. While Donnie and Mikey usually stood in the background.

Going back to earlier with 'depth'- now that they all hold more than 1 characteristic, their so much more interesting. Their appearances are unique as well, with very noticeable differences. But Raph is not just a full fledged ticking-time-bomb 24/7, he hold true compassion and emotion, and to me he just has that blissful, utter confusion makes the big 'tough guy' so adorable. I also love the idea of him being leader, definitely suits him. Donnie, oh thank GOD he has more depth than 2012-2017 Donnie did. He isn't just some desperate helpless nerd (no offense), he has that confident, sarcastic, sassy attitude a lot and god that is just what he needed. Thank you for that. The soft-shell also added a nice touch. Kind of shows they all have their weaknesses. I'm glad they kept that nerd, master-machinery science characteristic though. Donnie isn't Donnie without that. And the sharpie eyebrows? Dare I say more. MIKEY, Mikey; my turtle. I'm glad he kept that young, adorable, artistic theme with him, but now he isn't just a lost cause!! He isn't so clueless- and I love the way yiu portrayed him honestly, I don't even know what to say. You even managed to change his weapon into something more childish and Mikey like. Love it. Leo, honestly- I can't get my point across enough, thank god for the change in attitude, other Leo was getting annoying, it isn't Leo-central anymore. And that cocky, layed back attitude always lightens my mood, always striving the winner. Him and Donnie make a good disaster-twins duo. Ok, April has to be mentioned, she is so much better. The last one- which I'm sure Nickelodeon didn't actually do purposely; acted quite toxic, and manipulative. Always playing between Donnie and Casey. She is so cool in rottmnt version, everyone I've asked also agrees. I can't even describe her, but she's the girl we all want to be. Trust me. Splinter- In complete honesty, at first I didn't know WHAT to think. I was disappointed. But gradually I've started to enjoy him a lot more, he isn't portrayed as 'perfect' in this like the old Splinter was, far from it, I do wish he appeared a bit less pathetic at times though. But I guess- in a comedic way, that's what nick went for? Not sure, but I promise you'll get somewhat used to him as episodes fly by. I think this is long enough already, but I just can't stop talking- last thing, a lot of people at first glance were uncomfortable with the change in style, it went from 3D realistic-ish, to 2D full cartoon, I was exactly the same! I wasn't fond, but now I am in LOVE! I've actually grown to prefer it a lot more. All in all- thank you for this show. And I hope to see more of it. I RECOMMEND PEOPLE. I RECOMMEND!
