Homeland: Paean to the People (2018)
Season 7, Episode 12

Not bad for a finale
18 November 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Not exactly an exciting finale but nevertheless it's still suspenseful, and intense episode despite lack of action, the Saul situation with the Russian soldiers and Carrie's capture were the highlight of the episode. Carrie could simply have avoided being captured, if she had took off her wig and blended with the crowd, why didn't she? and Saul and co would still have gotten away.

President keane stepping down came out of nowhere, it negate everything she said and did the entire time she's president, moreover, she made a "promise" to Carrie's team that she'll do "anything in her power" to bring Carrie home but moments later she resigned?

Anyway, Carrie got released seven months later in some kinda prisoner exchange, and she's unstable as ever. Her reaction at the end with Saul was totally believable considering she was held in Russian prison for an extended amount of time without her medications. From the look of things, we're not done with crazy Carrie, I think it's going to overlap to the next season.

I hope the next season will be pulsating and be in a different location! 'cause this season while it's good, there weren't that memorable moments or episode, and it's not on any level as the rest of the previous seasons.
