Review of Boon

One of the joys of shift work is that you get to see day time tv. We get constant repeats of The Sweeney and Minder but we don't see much of Boon Now I am not going to say it was always great or worth watching again but then again I think The Sweeney and Minder are not as good as their fans say they are. There are only 3 reviews of Boon compared with loads of reviews for The Sweeney and Minder. Boon is a fun watch,Boon played by Michael Elphick is a despatch rider and private detective operating in Central England. The episodes feature humour and social comment and Boon has a more modern attitude to things than Minder. The great thing about these long running series is that each episode feature guest stars who are either on the way up or down in their acting careers.
