'Has some very redeeming factors.

Warning: Spoilers
This silly romp is very watchable from a female point of view because of the charismatic and magnetic appeal of Simon Baker, somehow he seems to hold all the frivolity together and see it for what it is, he tries to make sense of life. There is some depth to the story when he really tries to have a loving relationship with Dr. Miranda (the veterinarian), who, it turns out isn't on the list of 101. Also towards the end when he decides to stop hiding from number 101, Death Nell and ends up getting to know her. When Simon Bakers character overcomes his fear and meets Death Nell outside her hotel, she says "I'm not afraid of you any more" and the anti-men aspects of her stay on the street taunting him. Then they both have a very therapeutic conversation in the café and live happily ever after.
