I first saw this in the early 90s on a vhs and found it to be boring but after revisiting it recently i am surprised that this one is indeed a very different n suspenseful road movie minus the body count n nudity.
The best part about this film is the suspense which is obviously inspired by Hitchcock's films. Another good thing is the ending where our lead guy gets blamed for the killings....
The film has some loose stuff, why Quid assumed that Pamela is chatting with the driver and why we as audienc is shown the scene that way.
Also the "newly married" couple's van is shown parked near the green van and that scene got a lil confusing for me. How the van driver was able to get inside the truck within that stipulated time....
The end scene is a bit shocking but the rubber mask/head is a big lol.
