The attempt to rewrite the origins of SpongeBob isn't something I'm a fan, the overall story is okay and the animation is actually really good and wouldn't mind seeing more of this style.
Unfortunately I think what nickelodeon is doing is creating/rewriting SpongeBob for a new generation and we're all just going to have to accept that.
