"Simple Life" is a magnificent song, full of poetry and a beautiful melody with Elton's voice and the amazing harmonica solos. One of the many tracks from "The One".
As for the vídeo, it isn't much one of the most inspiring one's from the "Rocket Man" and neither for director Russell Mulcahy ("Highlander"). It's a very nice video with several moments of Elton singing inside of a cube while protests, realities and acts of love all appear on the foreground.
It gets a thumbs up for its vision, spiritualism and the amazing music, slightly edited to fit a playable music video for MTV - but the harmonica solo is there much to my enjoyment. 9/10
