The movie isn't bad but IMO it's in no way near a 'super hit'. The action parts are overly done. I always have this one problem with the Indian cop movies. Yes we need more movies with good cops since the rest of the movies are always against the police. However that doesn't mean that the cops have the right to use extreme violence whenever they feel like it. Yes, the action is important in action movies but it can be shown in many different ways. 'Commando' was a survival movie and there was a good enough reason why should there be that kind of action. But movies like these always show the extreme violence in a positive way. We don't need to encourage the police to use violence in everyday life when they can't get the answers. The use of the belt on baddies was cringeworthy. A good cop doesn't have to use that much of violence to prove he's a good guy. Otherwise what's the difference between a terrorist and a cop? It shows that if you have the uniform it's OK to beat the hell out of the people. Kajal Agarwal's character wasn't bad either. In fact the more interesting plot was of the main villains. At least their strategy to trap Singham was much better. It should be Singham who's clever or cleverer. Instead the baddies use wit to defeat their heroes while the heroes use extreme violence to do so. In fact I don't actually remember if there ever has been an Indian cop movie where the cop have discouraged the extreme violence.
