Review of Demonia

Demonia (1990) is an Italian horror movie I recently watched for free on Tubi. The storyline focuses on a group of archeologists that accidentally release a trapped demon spirit that immediately begins terrorizing the archeologists and local townspeople. This movie is directed by Lucio Fulci (Zombie 2) and stars Brett Halsey (Godfather Part III), Lino Salemme (The Passion of the Christ) and Christina Engelhardt (Man on the Moon). First thing I must say is I liked the Nuns in this better than the Nuns in "The Nun" from the conjuring series, especially when they had yellow ooze coming out of their mouth. There are some amazing scenes in this including an awesome scene where a character is attacked by a cat then their eyes pop out and a scene a guy gets nailed down by his tongue. Even the special effects of ripping apart a body was fun and well done and the conclusion is fulfilling. Overall this is a very entertaining addition to the horror genre that is worth your time. I'd score it a 8/10.
