Review of Stella

Stella (2008)
8/10
Beautifully crafted piece of art
29 April 2021
A French film happening in 1977 Paris where a teenage girl is trying to understand life and react to all the changes around her - hormonal, family, school, love... "Stella" reminds us of the emotional fragility of that age but through the movie we notice that the same fragility continues for her parents until adulthood...

Beautifully crafted piece of art with young Léora Barbara delivering one of the best acting for her age, colourful and saturated cinematography which brings reality café to our rooms, led safely and smoothly from beginning to the end by the mistress Sylvie Verheyde! Give it a go, it is worth your time!
