If you've never seen South Park before, I highly recommend you to do so before playing the video game because its FULL of references from the show that you will appreciate once you understand them. Alright, lets go onto the game. It's GREAT. As a South Park fan, this is literally everything I've ever wanted from a South Park game.
IMPORTANT: If you dislike South Park, you will not like the game.
PLOT
The plot in the game is well-written, clever, and extremely original. It's on the same level as some really good well-written South Park episodes quality wise IMO.
GRAPHICS/ANIMATION
The graphics are SPOT ON. The visuals are the exact same as the one in the show so it feels like you are watching a South Park episode, but instead you are playing. You can pick whether or not you want the quality of your graphics to be high or low which does affect the graphics obviously, but barely anything changes. The way you move. The way you sprint. The way you jump. It's so GOOD and satisfying to watch. 10/10
CONTROLS
I played this game on PC so I don't know how others experience this game on consoles like Xbox 360 or PS3, but the controls are for the most part good. I do wish that I can change the walking commands on the game but disregarding that, its a fine game with fine controls. 8.9/10
COMBAT
The combat is fine and overhated. Yes, it's a repetitive and pretty basic and I do prefer TFBW's combat structure, but its not bad. The combat mechanisms is a tad boring though because of the fact that it is too simplistic. 7.8/10
CHARACTERS
The game has every character done RIGHT. The characters just 'feel' like they are apart of an episode but instead in a 5-8h+ short game. I appreciate this tremendously because while it doesn't consist the best of every character, we see more 'screen time' with other minor characters in South Park play major roles that fit them. 10/10
SOUNDTRACK
The soundtrack is repetitive at times but its hilarious and thrilling to listen to. I love the main menu and intro theme music and can listen to it for more than 5x. Though, I wish they hadn't overused the City Streets theme. 9.0/10.
GAMEPLAY
The gameplay in this game is somewhat a great part of the game to me. The divergent paths that take you into the background, allowing greater freedom of movement is so appeasing to me for some reason. 9.1/10
EXPERIENCE
My experience in this game is mainly the reason why I gave this game a huge high rating score. While objectively it isn't the best RPG game, I absolutely enjoyed it throughout my experience with it. Though there is times where I am a tad bored, but that only happens 1-2 times during the game. 10/10
OVERALL
This game is a masterpiece to me. It's a absolute fantastic RPG with classic turn based elements and HILARIOUS comedy. All South Park fans NEED to play this game immediately because while playing it, you feel like you are apart of the show. One of the funniest video games ever.
