Warning: Spoilers
Silent Night Deadly Night 2 (1987) is currently available for free on Tubi and picks up where the first one left off with a Billy's younger brother who was also at the orphanage, telling Billy's tale, from within a psychiatric ward. This movie was directed by Lee Harry (Street Fighter) and was made on a $100,000 budget. The movie stars Eric Freeman (In Living Color), Elizabeth Kaitan (Friday the 13th Part VII), James Newman (Flags of our Fathers) and Jean Miller (Union Bridge). The first third of the movie is made up of clips from the first film with some entertaining dialogue by Billy's younger brother. The movie theatre fight scene was hilarious as was the car battery and umbrella scenes . The acting and overall movie is just okay to terrible, but the film is entertaining and fun to watch unfold. There's definitely a high rematch value with this film (regardless of the universal ratings). Overall this isn't elite but is a must watch (at least once). I'd score this a 5/10.
