. . . the results spell trouble: "Cable Harm." Like the nefarious TV test pattern from POLTERGEIST, this silent mind-warping exercise is fiendishly crafted to reduce all but the strongest minds to mush with its 11 minutes of visual terrorism. Jerkily panning back and forth and round and round a cluttered slum flat, subliminal messages stridently urge viewers over the brink of self-destruction. Under these malign circumstances, itemizing the clues proving the "director's" ominous assault simply would play into her deviant hands. She is to apples what Joan Miro is to watches.
