Review of Cover-Up

Cover-Up (1991)
2/10
Watchable but still abit too dull & too slow!!!
7 July 2021
Dolph Lundgren & Louis Gossett Jr had a much better team up with the Cult Classic THE PUNISHER!!!

Action legend Dolph tries to do a more slow-paced Suspenseful Thriller than his usual gritty Action-packed type & it just feels dull & boring to be honest.

Cover-up isn't a terrible film it's just very slow & unexciting & i so wanted Dolph to pull out the big guns & blow something up lol but here he plays an investigative reporter sent to Jerusalem to check out why an American military base was blown up & by who? There's plenty of Cheesiness & just a very laziness to everything that happens & nothing happens often. It's supposed to be a twisty conspiracy Thriller but it just gets bogged down with too many really boring scenes.

Gossett Jr is a fine actor is still decent here in his small part but nothing could save the tired pace of a this dull flick.

Dolph actually does feel out of place in this low-key role & the film really does feel low-budget & thats not usually a problem as many Awesome films have been cheap to make but this is a very dull one.
