This movies reminds me a lot of Polanski's "Repulsion", but it's miles away in terms of quality. It has it's charm and it's definitely stylish, but not nearly to the point of masterpiece or a good movie. Again, as in "Repulsion", we don't really care for our heroine. She is bland, boring and totally not interesting. All the creepy moments are letdowns and you are treated with almost two hours of lady staying in her apartment and going insane in the most boring way possible. Subplot about cannibalism is not needed and feels like a final nail in the coffin of this movie that wanted to do so much, but accomplished so little. I don't really recommend it, even to my fellow horror movie veterans, but it isn't unwatchable and can be a mediocre watch if you are really into these kinds of movies.
