Review of The Long Night

I quite liked this one. No great shakes overall and not the most suspenseful movie out there, but the story that plays out is interesting enough. Henry Fonda plays a guy being besieged in his own apartment by a city's entire police force after apparently committing a murder and the circumstances that led him to be there are shown in flashbacks. I was delighted by the presence of Vincent Price as a dastardly magician in the cast, he adds immeasurably to the viewing pleasure.
