Doing what Sho Kosugi does best!!!
3 November 2021
A Japanese cop, Shiro, and his partner Ray are after a bunch of drug dealers. But they are betrayed by an insider and Ray is killed. Shiro follows the murderer, a sadistic drug lord, up to Argentina.

Fast-paced Sho Kosugi actioner that scales down the ninja element and graphic violence a notch, and delivers a highly enjoyable haven of 80's fun that has shades of Miami vice and cop films. Sho Kosugi's fight choreography is polished, has joint locks as well as strikes, and he performs some good stunts ( check out the balcony sequence) and his acting is much better. His screen presence and his deadly stare is on point, and I just love his accent. The man's a legend. Pity he didn't make more films of this type following this one. He sort of like a Japanese Charles Bronson.

Kosugi is ably supported by a good cast, a sadistic villain, and a cast of stuntmen who are flung aside in death throes when Kosugi despatches them with shurikens, arrows, and machine guns- the last thirty minutes is pure action mayhem on the lines of Commando. Great over the top fun to watch after having a bad day at work.
