Audacious and outrageous
4 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
A group of Devil followers known as the Illuminated kidnap a small boy with the power to save mankind. It's up to unlikely Christ disciples Jolie (a spot-on sassy and lively performance by Lois Brabin-Platt) and Jeremiah (sharply played by Jamie Crew) to save the boy before it's too late.

Writer/director Savvas D. Michael the enjoyably loopy story at a brisk pace, maintains a no-holds-barred bold and confrontational tone throughout, presents a neat array of colorful characters, and takes plenty of fiercely mocking satirical pot shots at woke cancel culture. Moreover, Adam Deacon has a field day as a super suave incarnation of Satan while Steven Berkoff is a total hoot as Jeremiah's demented grandfather. A wickedly twisted treat.
