I guess it had to happen - an Exorcist rip off from Italy called The Sexorcist. Already, this is sounding like it will be a great idea. But never judge a book by its cover, or a film by its title. The story is about a life size wooden sculpture of Jesus on the cross which is taken from a desecrated church and before long its causing all manner of perturbation and despair. This one suffers from being too lacking in excitement and purpose on the whole but it does have occasional good moments, like a witches ceremony where Ivan Rassimov comes to life as the evil Christ and proper chews up the scenery to such an extent you can't help thinking he must have suffered some form of indigestion.
