The Lost Lincoln (2020 TV Special)
6/10
A 20 minute special stretched to 90 minutes

Any fan of Abraham Lincoln will want to watch this special. Both entertaining and educational, the viewer is treated to both history and science. Whether the story is fictional or not, any viewer will experience a common truth, that this subject is not only morbid but offensive in good and bad ways. For instance, the subject matter of the photo is hard to watch as we are forced to view it time and time again. After watching, our perspective of Abraham Lincoln changes as we are potentially viewing an Abraham Lincoln image in the worst possible case. Dead. Although intriguing and somewhat downright ghastly, it is hard to continue wo watch while also hard to look away. The documentary does repeat itself time and time again and reviews its findings multiple times in order to expand run time. While the story could of had more resolve in its findings, it definitely needed less slow motion shots of pointless imagery of side characters walking to and from different scenes. This is as much a story of the individual doing the investigation as it is of Abraham Lincoln. A hard, yet enjoyable documentary to watch.
