The movie begins with the foolish idea that if the scientist (who doesn't seem like a scientist) can create clean energy, the fossil fuel industry that he'll be putting out of business will finance his project. Ridiculous, right? Then there's the face that his teen daughter looks to be 25 (poor casting). And that his lab workers seem more like Animal House style Frat Brothers than lab workers. I stopped watching about a half hour in. It's just too stupid of a premise and carried out too poorly. I'm giving it a 4 star rating instead of a 3 because there's an space alien in there somewhere that might liven it up. I just couldn't watch any more without my brain exploding.
