Major Payne (1995)

I am a big fan of Damon Wayans but this feels like one of his weaker efforts. The film itself borrows on the tried and tested plot of slightly weird adult interacting and mentoring a bunch of no hope kids. At first neither party is happy but the chemistry grows and they collectively succeed. Along the way there is some nineties humour which is now hit or miss (the film is 25 years old at this point) but one negative point is Damon puts on some weird accent (think Adam Sandler in Little Nicky) which becomes annoying with time.
