This movie is surprisingly entertaining

Shadowzone (1990) is a movie I recently watched for the first time on Tubi. The storyline follows an experiment that sends people into a stasis mode. Little do they know that when in that stasis mode things can come back into our world from that universe through those people. A man is sent to investigate the situation when word gets out that things are going wrong and people are missing.

This movie is directed by J. S. Cardone (Wicked Little Things) and stars Louise Fletcher (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest), James Hong (Big Trouble in Little China), Frederick Flynn (Shadow Hunter), Shawn Weatherly (Police Academy 3) and Miguel A. Núñez Jr. (Scooby-Doo).

This movie is surprisingly entertaining. The sets and props are very good and I loved the monkey. The cast is fun and the lab scenes are entertaining. The kill sequences and gore were also fun and the video game like radar reminded me of pitfall and had me cracking up.

Overall this is a very fun movie that's worth a viewing. It does have an "Aliens" feel to it in a lot of ways and I'd strongly recommend watching it. I would score this a 7/10.
