And it had an extremely solid opening scene with cool practical effects that really reeled me in. It sputters out a bit after, but it does maintain a really nice aesthetic and tone to it throughout. The pacing could have been better at moments that seemed to slow to a crawl. The horror elements were decent, some moments were a bit corny but overall the antagonistic elements were satisfying enough.
