Count Dracula (Udo Kier) and his renfield Anton (Arno Juerging) travel from Romania to Italy in search of a virgin's blood . They are invited to stay at the di Fiori estate where there are four unmarried girls . The father is the ruined Marchese Di Fiore (Vittoria De Sica) due to gambling debts , that's why the mother La Marchesa Di Fiore (Maxime McKendry) wants to marry anxiously one of the daughters to the count to alleviate her lousy economic situation . The daughters are as follows : The two middle girls , Rubina (Stefania Casini) and Saphiris [Dominique Darel) are screwing the hired hand Mario (Joe Dallesandro), furthermore the youngest girl Perla (Silvia Dionisio) and the oldest girl Esmerelda (Milena Vukotic) are still a virgin . As Dracula drinks their blood and promptly throws up .Perhaps the Count will choose one of the four sisters ? Highly unlikely. This terrifying as well as ironic tale contains horrifying set pieces , disconcerting scenes , chills , nudism , suggested sex and lots of gore with a liquid similar to red tomato was used for the blood . This recounting of Dracula is very loosely based on Bram Stoker's 1897 classic novel of the same title and one of the biggest differences with Bram Stoker's original novel is that this version's plot takes place entirely at an Italian villa , as Stoker's work moves the action to England , likewise , the sinister humor of Sangue per Dracula(1974) is not for all tastes . This isn't a faithful adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula novel , the film ultimately made numerous significant changes to the story , being more a sinister/funny/violent comedy than an adequate recounting . Dracula is well played by Euro-cult actor Udo Kier and his nemesis isn't Van Helsing but a macho man performed by Joe Dallesandro , regular actor of the Paul Morissey- Andy Warhol factory. While remaining cast is formed by several Eurotrash actresses as Stefania Casini , Silvia Dionisio , Milena Vukotic and Dominique Darel who died early at an car accident .
