Review of Crime and Punishment

After Peter Lorre's smash success in Fritz Lang's masterpiece, M, he was cast again in a classic crime story, Crime and Punishment. Although the film does not match the intensity of M, it is still entertaining as a literary piece that is helped out by the acting efforts of Edward Arnold, a fine character actor. Well worth viewing.
