It has a promising start and seems to build but then drops with a thud. I have seen other films with the lead actress playing the grieving mom and enjoyed her work. However this was such a disappointment. Characters were unrealistic too. Seriously, the new neighbors are going to let their 9 year old daughter go by herself to dinner with family next door without ever having met any of the family, especially the parents? And the family invites only the 9 year old and not her parents? And then after the cops are called by the neighbors in a complaint against the son of the grieving family,, instead of pulling together, the grieving mom asks her husband to move out for a while? I don't know any people who behave like these characters. Do not waste your time.
