Daria Nicolodi might be better known for starring in several of Dario Argento's horror films, but she delivers one of her best performances in Shock where she plays a wife and mother who believes the spirit of her dead lover has possessed their son. Mario Bava cooks up more than a few surprising shocks throughout and the story is interesting and compelling.
