Candace was quirky, funny, unusual. But once she and the kids move to the new seaside, Candace became extremely tiresome. After she says hi to her kids, she sneaks over to the boyfriend's boat (a stupid high school maneuver), she also manages to flirt/sleep with most males in the police dept., jealousy arises with every superior assigned, she can't keep track of her 4 kids and dog (see first and second reasons listed), and changes her hair color and gets rid of all her pink stuff to pass off as "masculine" and not as a dumb/smart blond (the premise of the show). There was never any time for solving murders.
