Nothing in this film is inherently wrong. But the film is a mind-numbing film. You don't connect with any of the characters, and the ensemble of characters doesn't blend. Especially the hillbilly brothers, they are the worst. In this type of disaster movie, what makes the film are the people in the disaster rather than the disaster itself. But none of them are interesting, so you wouldn't mind them dying by the storm. The storm is the best part of the film. The visual effects are pretty good. And the best part is when we enter the scene when the car is heading above the storm. Also, the movie is a bit annoying when it transitions from a camcorder movie to a standard shot movie. It's jarring for the audience. They should've stuck with the cam cord only. Overall, is it worth watching most of the film to head to that one excellent part near the end? No. If you do want to watch this, focus on the storm.
