The only reason I gave this five stars and not zero, is because of the first 19 episodes. The first two seasons they built up such a strong story with great, round characters. Different than any other show on air. All of their hard work came crumbling down, however, starting with the final episode of season 2. The Vahim kiss came out of nowhere and was just all kinds of wrong. It mainly felt to me like it was added so the can end season 2 on a cliffhanger. Felix and Pilar dating also started abruptly, before we even had a moment to digest his break up from Lake. Not to mention Lake and Lucy... they're storyline felt like someone thought about it last minute and just threw it in there, because, why not? Andrew went from having a great character development, to being such a flat one with no arc. His whole purpose of season 3 seemed to be just being Mia's boyfriend. It was such a messy season, completely all over the place, that I don't even know what it was I just watched. All I do know is that it felt extremely rushed and nothing really made sense. Least of all the whole Nick storyline, because like where the heck did he come from? It just made the whole twist so cheap, like all someone needs is someone to get under to get over another. Which is the worst lesson to teach people. They had such a prime opportunity to teach teens how to cope with such grown up topics, how not to run away from troubles and how to deal with it together without falling completely apart. And even if not together, they could have taught an even better lesson of how to get over another by getting under yourself, and how to be strong on your own and not to need someone to be your best self. I liked the final scene of the season, but it also made me feel like the whole messy season was just so they can end it with a full circle on that ferris wheel. The only things I really enjoyed about this season was the friendship between Rahim and Benji, and that Venji ended up together after all.
