It ain't over til it's over

No pun intended - and no the song is not in the show ... well yet. Because while this is tagged/named Mini Series, the ending is quite open to say the least. I actually expect there to be either a second season or another Mini Series. If either is the case, I might add to my overall rating.

A heads up of sorts, because as it is, the show has a very unpleasant ending. If you can even call it that. On the other hand, we have a lot of cliches that are woven into the show. And there is something that I was thinking while I was watching the show. You could make direct connection from Die Hard to this. You have the protagonist who has marriage issues, it is not just winter time but Christmas too and everything plays inside one building where the bad guys try to .. well do what bad guys do.

Of course while you could (or I could in this case) make the ... well case for it, there are quite a few differences too. Bruce WIllis was alone - and while our main character seems to be alone too (at least when it comes to what he knows and what his own goal has to be within the story), he has quite a lot of help.

You could and some seem to have critisized the main character for his moral decisions and for his willingness to put so many lifes on the line ... for one other life (pun intended and you could argue that it is two I reckon).

The suspense works more than well, the acting is good ... and the reveals keep on coming ... even in the last episode ... where it made me think: But this is the end ... how can this be? Well I can't answer that for you ... still there is more than something here - if you suspend your disbelief.
