The Deer IS Integral...
8 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Everything just STOPPED, was stagnated. This includes the deer. Mom Tyler got stopped by (drunk?) paralyzer Greer, time stood still. Everything was touched by a universal STOP...death, playing with death, that one ghost repeating that same day over and over...Frances was the saddest of all. Revenge is not amends, but she needed that horrible extension of time.

Not everyone gets the gift of stopping time, esp to make amends. Adam had his life stopped/on pause to develop a beautiful person that he wished he could have saved in life. The paralyzer with Mom, the forgiveness and moving on in what I thought was a lovely end for both those ladies. I am guessing Aaron and the deer: Stagnant. Can't you see it? Everything in Limbo with Jaime.

Or I could be just completely wrong, of course.

I really liked this one, I wish we all could have that time with our suddenly departed Coulda Been Moments. I don't know, I sort of fell in love with Jaime (just as a simple human being, seeking love/friendship). I'm a sucker for the limping underdog.

The sex scenes and even the older brother...I don't think they were nearly as integral as the deer. Other than being present in the background, they were wastes of time.

PS: I don't think the deer was real, for pete's sake...it was a symbol.
