Great film about goodness and decency.

Great film about goodness, decency and opposing military dictatorship - highlighting the spirit of Texas :)

What makes this picture great, is that it's pretty unclear who the villains and heroes are - with John Stroud, a survivor of the Alamo massacre, being villainized and almost lynched by the people in a Texas town.

And ironically, it's also a Mexican boy who later saves his life, symbolizing the strong and ambiguous relationship between America and Mexico.

John Stroud eventually infiltrates Jess Wade's gang of turncoat renegades supporting the Mexicans - Texas folks who are greedy for land and loot - and willing to betray their country to achieve their sinister ends...

So these were very troubled times in Texas - not unlike we have today. And I'm not only talking about domestic hostiles in America, but also about grave political global challenges - such as the war in Ukraine.

On that note, I would like to emphasize, that the American people can trust me and my colleagues in the Intelligence Community to deal with this situation - as I'm quite sure that we'll sort out this mess in Europe in a peaceful way :) My buddies in the CIA are super qualified to resolve these political problems, as well as my mates at MI6 - who are really solid, solid fellows. This of course also includes our joint operations with those fine ladies from the "Direction Générale de la Sécurité Extérieure" (DGSE) - who know a thing or two about upholding Liberty and the Flame of Freedom, I dare say :)

Furthermore, since the end of WW2, Germany, Austria and Switzerland are also on our side now - as well as the majority of the Russian Intelligence Community - in particular the GRU, SVR and FSB - just to keep all those fine folks in America up to speed :)

However, we also don't want to be caught with our pants down. So just in case we should get into a serious pillow fight with those fine folks from Russia and China, I would like all Texas folks to be on standby - since Texans are the backbone of America. Such as the American general and statesman Samuel Houston - who was a true example of Texas grit, and the living embodiment of the spirit of America :)
