A real shame of a movie. Nothing seemed to flow for the entirety of it. The plot line was absolutely everywhere, a completely disjointed story, and by the end of the movie you're asking yourself what did I actually learn about Elvis? Turns out, nothing.
The movie seemed to pivot more on the story of how the Colonel screwed Elvis over then Elvis himself. I understand how that is in integral part of the Elvis story but it seems to overwhelm the story of Elvis' life.
All in all, wouldn't watch again and regret paying to see in theatres. It is a shame because Austin Butler really was excellent in the part but they do him an injustice with this script and direction.
