I'm gonna prove my innocence, or die trying!

Warning: Spoilers
When oil well salesman Edward J. Nugent discovers that a stock his bosses have him selling is phony, he ends up being framed for the murder of one of his bosses who actually committed suicide out of guilt. On the run, he's determined to expose them and prove his innocence which leads to his own investigation of the wells that results in a confrontation in the dead man's office.

With the help of his brother, priest Lloyd Hughes and girlfriend Kay Hughes, Nugent spends the next hour on a high speed chase to reveal the truth and bring his bosses to justice. This film wastes absolutely no time in getting the action going and features a speedy pace in getting the plot resolved. It's a steady, no nonsense B crime drama with elements of comedy and romance helping the hero get to the truth. Some of the action sequences are literally jaw dropping, including a scene where men jump from a moving train into a moving car. It's obvious how this is going to end, but the way the writers plan this out works well in creating a nifty little B.
