Land of the Lost (1974–1977)
10/10
Severely underrated 70s Sci-Fi

Warning: Spoilers
If you're a lover of the twilight zone, lost in space, the time tunnel, or star trek, this show will fit right in. A combination of dinosaurs, lizard-men, and pakuni build the basics of this smartly written children's Saturday morning show.

David Gerrold's creative writing leads to surprisingly far-out concepts for a show of this quality. By "quality" I refer to the production. Admittedly, the effects and set design are mediocre, but the creative stop-motion makes up for it. The acting ranges from unbelievably goofy to hauntingly intense.

The real gem here are the world building elements unique to this production: The lost city - an old maze of tunnels infected by lizard men (sleestaks), dimensional gateways, and mythical telepathic creatures.
